Makes Tivo like new again June 4, 2010

Our original remote started to lose it's oomph, and pushing buttons didn't always work. This made us love our Tivo again - amazing how you don't notice the lack of responsiveness when it happens gradually, but to get it all back is great. The original remote lasted 5 years or so, so I think it had a well deserved retirement.

I accidentally broke my TiVo remote but I immediately replaced it with this new one.
The remote is easy to use, has an ergonomic feel, and is just great in general.

The first question I had was how did we ever live without TIVO in the past. I purchased two of the TIVO replacement remotes from Amazon to replace a broken one and one that just wasn't performing well (Original remote for the original first version of TIVO). Amazon had the best price compared to other sellers, esppcially [...]. Shipping was excellent as usual and the remotes performed as expected.

This is an easy to use remote. My wife and I both like it. It seems unnecessary to pay more for any other Tivo remote.

I bought this remote for my Tivo HD. It works just like the "glo" white/black models. Only difference is the Select button is below the "big circle" button. I actually like that better than pressing the center of the circle on Glo remotes.
