We use these remotes all of the time and as the price is so reasonable, they don't last forever. All of the local stores that sell them around us are out and they can't get them in, so I went to the internet and found them on Amazon. I hesitated to order from Amazon as my last experience was not a good one and I never could get a reply from anyone. But with the price being so low I thought I would give you another try. And this time it was great, the product arrived within days of ordering and everything works fine. Now everyone in the household is happy, they all have their own remote.
Works well on my 13" Toshiba TV September 22, 2009

The remote for my 13" Toshiba TV started acting up recently, difficulty with some buttons while others were fine. I cracked it open and cleaned the contacts, but it didn't help. I wasn't sure this remote would work after I saw another reviewer who had problems with his Toshiba TV. There are four codes included for Toshiba televisions and mine ended up being the third. Programming is easy, you just press the device button (TV, DVD, VCR), hold SET for two seconds, then enter a four digit code.
The only problem I'm having is working the menu. I can get the menu up and select items with channel +/- buttons (using SHIFT), but I can't find a key to open the selected menu item in order to manage channels or adjust the picture. It looks like I should be able to operate the menu using buttons on the TV itself, so I'll manage.

Cheaper, heavy duty piece of technology. Why I have to expend more money at any retail store?, Here I got a great selection and good prices to choose. I feel excited because I'd saved almost 15 dollars just in one product.

'Universal' it is not - failed to link up to any and all electronics we tried it with. Don't waste your money.
